EIA weekly ethanol production decreased 39,000 barrels to 983,000 for the week ending 8/12, lowest level since April 29, and stocks increased 190,000 barrels to 23.446 million barrels, highest in a month. A Bloomberg poll looked for weekly US ethanol production to end up unchanged and stocks up 24,000 barrels. Corn crop year to date production (Sep 2021-Aug 12, 2022) is up 6.4% from the same period year ago. US gasoline stocks were 215.7 million barrels, down 4.6 million from previous week. Gasoline demand rose 225,000 barrels to 9.35 million barrels, highest since early July. Ethanol blended percentage into finished motor gasoline was 91.5%, up from 91.0% week earlier.
