Weather volatility continues in today’s 00z run. The GFS Ensembled showed warming across the 15D window, while the Euro Ensemble was flat relative to yesterday’s runs.

 

 

Today’s Fundamentals:

Daily US natural gas production is estimated to be  90.2 Bcf/d this morning. Today’s estimated production is -1.56 Bcf/d to yesterday, and -2.16 Bcf/d to the 7D average. We saw a similar drop in yesterday’s early morning nominations, but then restated higher in later cycles. We expect to see the same with the estimate for today.

Natural gas consumption is modelled to be 65.2 Bcf today,  +0.41 Bcf/d to yesterday, and -9.59 Bcf/d to the 7D average. US power burns are expected to be 24.54 Bcf today, and US ResComm usage is expected to be 12.8 Bcf.

Net LNG deliveries are expected to be 11.6 Bcf today.

Mexican exports are expected to be 6.5 Bcf today, and net Canadian imports are expected to be 3.7 Bcf today.

We expect the upcoming storage report to be a +28 Bcf injection.
