Today’s Fundamentals

Daily US natural gas production is estimated to be  96.9 Bcf/d this morning. Today’s estimated production is +0.71 Bcf/d to yesterday, and +0.56 Bcf/d to the 7D average. We saw a bit move in daily production out of the SC and NE this weekend. Today’s nomination data shows the NE production levels climbing back to 34 Bcf/d. These are levels the regions has had a hard time holding since production dropped after the warm December. In the SC production levels have exceeded those late December levels with the Permian and Haynesville starting to grow.

Natural gas consumption is modelled to be 82.6 Bcf today,  +0.58 Bcf/d to yesterday, and +6.9 Bcf/d to the 7D average. US power burns are expected to be 27 Bcf today, and US ResComm usage is expected to be 25.7 Bcf.

Net LNG deliveries are expected to be 12.8 Bcf today. Freeport volumes continue to struggle, while Calcasieu Pass continues to post volumes above 0.8 Bcf/d.

Mexican exports are expected to be 6.7 Bcf today, and net Canadian imports are expected to be 5.4 Bcf today.

The storage outlook for the upcoming report is +46 Bcf today.
